So, I went on a date…actually at the time of this post it’s been two dates, now mind you this isn’t my first date since my breakup but it’s definitely had its impact. When we first started talking,I wasn’t sure if I was ready for the potential of another relationship, so I decided to do one of the worst things I’ve ever done and I ghosted him, I hate the fact that I did that and soon realized I had made a huge mistake.
I decided to text him one day when I realized I shouldn’t miss out on an opportunity with someone just because of the way someone else has treated me, and boy did I make the right decision. Our first date was going to Korean BBQ which is customary to order the food raw and you cook it yourself on the grill on the center of the table, he ordered everything (Which I loved because I had only been once or twice before.) we talked about our upbringing, what we do for a living and where we plan on going with our careers in the future. He seems like a very genuine person from most of the gay community that I’ve experienced its hookup, THEN see where we go from there which I didn’t feel at all and I loved.
We decided to continue our date by going to the movies and we decided to watch Jumanji (highly recommend going) after the movie we headed to McDonalds to get mcflurries, where we talked even more and just vibe off each other very well, at the end of the day I’m really excited to see where this goes, it’s something new and not something I expected was coming my way and that definitely excites me. Don’t miss out on any opportunities that may come your way whether it be career, adventure, or relationships!
Be happy and good luck!
